HOW do deliveries work?

Plain and simple - we prepare and deliver delicious food!

Fridays + Saturdays we deliver our weekend special. The menu changes weekly. No delivery fee. Check it out at the bottom of the SHOP THE MENU page.

On Wednesdays we deliver from our regular menu: there is a $10 delivery charge on orders under $100. Due to extremely high demand, we are kindly asking customers to provide as much advance notice as possible for their orders. Current wait time for larger orders is about two weeks. We thank you in advance for your patience. Check out our full menu on the SHOP THE MENU page.

On Tuesdays, we deliver our Fresh + Healthy Weeknight meal program. No delivery fee. For dates and menu options, check it out at the bottom of the SHOP THE MENU page.

Many of our customers love to pick up from us directly and visit us in person because we always have extra goodies on hand - both fresh and frozen - so we encourage you to stop by at our kitchen at 267 O’Connor Street!

Please note that deliveries to Metcalfe, Greely and other areas far outside of the downtown core are subject to order value minimums. Shoot us an email at galleykp@gmail.com to inquire.

how does payment work?

For now, we accept etransfer but we are working on incorporating e-commerce into the site ASAP so that you can pay super easily with credit card. Please send all etransfers to galleykp@gmail.com

what’s a standard portion?

All main dishes serve 4 generously which means that if there are only 2 of you, you’re going to have some seriously amazing leftovers for lunch (or dinner!) the next day. Sides and salads also serve 4 as a general rule. Soup comes in 1 litre containers. Appetizers and canapés come mostly by the dozen but please refer to the menu for specifics.

how are things packaged?

In acknowledging the impact that the food industry has on the environment, our goal is to keep packaging to a minimum. Furthermore, we are committed to using fully recyclable packaging. All food is delivered in foil packages with a tight fitting lid. In Ottawa, soiled foil containers are recyclable so be sure to throw them in the blue bin! Soups come in recyclable/reusable plastic 1 litre containers. All orders are secured in a recyclable brown paper bag.

what’s the quick scoop on the ingredients you use?

All of our food is cooked from scratch with no added preservatives or artificial flavourings or colourings. Locally sourced products and produce are used whenever possible, especially in the spring and summer when about 95% of our produce comes from our local farmer’s markets. This is real food, cooked with care, from scratch, and with the greatest attention to detail and respect for the raw ingredients used. Please note that the phyllo and puff pastry used in our recipes is purchased pre-made.

i’m thinking of booking you to cater a party…

Awesome. We love nothing more than setting up in your home kitchen, cooking up a storm and helping entertain your guests! Maybe you don’t need us to come and cook at your house, but want help to plan out a cohesive meal and then have us drop it off before your event. Just give us a call or email us - we’re here to help!
